Produce quality & availability

One (or more) of the items in our box this week was poor quality
We work hard to ensure that our produce is of a high standard. Occasionally, a substandard item will slip through the net. If this happens please let us know and we will credit your account or replace the item free of charge the following week.

Why are some products not available from Life Organic at a time when we can find them in the supermarkets?
Supermarkets often insist that their suppliers guarantee a year-round supply. These suppliers will source produce from all over the world at whatever cost and transport it by air, sea or road. Whenever possible we source seasonal fruit and vegetables from Canada and we will only buy from foreign suppliers when necessary. For these reasons, we cannot stock such a wide range of fresh produce throughout the year like the supermarkets.

Why don't you sell the bigger quantities of Ecover products, toilet paper or napkins?
We listen to all feedback from our customers and carry out regular surveys to find out what you would like us to be selling. Our product range is based on demand from our customers and on availability of supply. If we have enough demand for these products we will certainly try to add them to our range.

How can I find out what is going to be in my box this week?
You can always check your box contents on this website in This weeks boxes or simply give us a call. Sometimes we have to make some last minute changes to the box contents, though, for example if our farmers experience difficulties with their crops so that they are unavailable that week or are not of a high enough standard. In these cases we will make some last minute replacements to the box contents. If you receive something you weren't expecting, our website will have for information and great recipe ideas, or you can give us a ring for some suggestions.
